The SaharaCares' Autism: A Survival Guide for Caregivers DVD was made in collaboration with Clear Horizons Academy and the Autism Council of Utah. This training DVD was created with the intent of:
Helping families recruit individuals to care for their special needs children
Making potential caregivers understand the great need that exists and how they can make a huge difference in the lives of families facing this disability
Bringing humor into the caregiver role and creating awareness that this is a tough job but that it's doable and can be a lot of fun
Creating more of an understanding of challenges that children with autism and their families face on a daily basis
